If you tie your own you will know exactly what I am talking about but if you don’t tie your own flies then don’t worry as I have a range of quality flies at fantastic prices available here.

As Fly Tyers and creators of well known patterns go Davie McPhail is one of the finest that hails from the UK.
In this section you will find interviews with Davie and hear all about his background and what he thinks about tying today.
There’s also dozens of patterns for you to tie with every video presented by Davie himself.

Wullie Munn
Semperfli Pro Team member Wullie is one of the most prolific Content Creators on the various Facebook Stillwater fishing groups. Winner of several FFLR 2024 Fly of the Year comps.
Donald Stewart
Veniard Ambassador Donald specialises in traditional patterns including Clyde Style and is the man behind Fionn Flies.

Stevie Dallas
SMG Fishing Pro Team member Stevie’s river flies have been featured internationally in magazines and books and is responsible for creating many flies that are now considered to be standard patterns in boxes.
Brian Brown
Semperfli Pro Team member and winner of FFLR Fly of the Year comps in 2024 Brian specialises in Traditional and UK Stillwater patterns. He also fishes competitively in the UK National comps and is one to watch.
Ed Ford
Veniard Ambassador Ed specialises in Traditional Clydestyle Trout & Predator fishing patterns. His Predator patterns are highly sought after worldwide for both fresh and saltwater species.
Bits N Buzzers
SMG Signature Tyer Bits N Buzzers is one of the new generation of tyers who mainly focuses on the TikTok platform where he is a prolific live broadcaster. He also has an active group on Facebook.
Dan Brown
SMG Signature Tyer Dan is also part of the new generation of Tik Tok tyers who also streams live tying sessions.

MF Fly Tying
Chuck N Duck Signature Tyer Mario from MF Fly Tying has built up a dedicated following on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok with his tying videos and stillwater trout fishery report videos.
Roswell Socorro
Chuck N Duck Signature Tyer Roswell Socorro is a prolific Content Creator who posts daily with an array of stunning flies. Very partial to a Clydestyle fly or two.
Chris McCafferty
Blob and Buzzer Signature Tyer Chris is another who has built up a following across multiple channels with his modern take on traditional patterns.
Scott Brown
Blob & Buzzer Signature Tyer Scott Brown is more commonly known for his modern take on stillwater trout patterns and buzzers whilst also posting the occasional classic.
Garry Reid
Chuck N Duck Signature Tyer Garrys traditional Scottish flies are a joy to behold. Created the Doon Valley Trout Fishing group that attracts lots of highly skilled tyers.
Ken Kennedy
Flybox Ambassador and Orkney guide, Ken Kennedy is the man behind the Fishy Facebook group. His take on traditional patterns has built into a sizeable following.
Mak Flies
Prolific YouTuber Mak Flies’ channel has over 25m views since launch and has recently started sharing his content on other Social Media channels.
The Tao Of Flies
Hailing from the USA Son Tao is the master of the shortform Instagram video. Now enjoying retirement and ties only for fun. Offers guided trips in the USA.
